M&E Designs for Extension and Refurbishment of 71,000 sq ft Cambridge House

Green Building Design Consultants developed a cost-effective building services design for the extension and refurbishment of the 71,000 sq ft Cambridge House in Hammersmith, London.

Working with award winning architects Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands to support the planning application for a 26,000 sq ft extension to include 3,000 sq ft of residential apartments, Green Building Design Consultants produced designs for building services and control equipment to limit energy usage.

For the refurbishment, working with ThirdWay Interiors, the engineers developed a detailed performance design and monitored installation of all mechanical and electrical equipment. Most of the offices were converted back from separate rooms to open plan space as part of the Cat A refurbishment.
