Green Building Design Consultants’ work on saving energy and creating comfortable, functional and cost-effective working environments has been recognised by winning The Green Award in the National Building Awards 2019.

The judges were impressed by how the company promotes sustainable development and energy efficiency throughout the building industry. Performance improvements which were assessed included £5m of energy cost savings in 3 years for Vodafone and reducing carbon emission in a Camden Victorian terrace house by 80%.

The National Building Awards event, sponsored by Liebherr, was held at Wembley Stadium on Thursday 22nd May, to raise the profile of enterprising businesses in the construction industry. Over 50 finalists were recognised, including architects, engineers, developers, contractors, building material manufacturers and software specialists.
